iA American Warranty Group (iA American) named Joseph "Joe" Porter senior vice president of dealer channel, reporting to President John Laudenslager.

Porter will lead the dealer channel with a focus on dealer performance, expanding strategic partnerships, and strengthening iA American’s retail automotive value proposition.

Background And Experience
Porter brings more than 29 years of training and consulting experience across automotive retail, wholesale and dealer wealth-building segments. His career includes leadership roles at Brightline Dealer Advisors, Gulf States Toyota, and American Financial Automotive Services.

Leadership development
He has also served as a consultant to minority dealer associations for Ford and Chrysler, as well as state dealer associations, including those in North Carolina and Texas. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing from Husson University.
