The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, recently commissioned to conduct a series of studies to better understand which repair tasks are performed most frequently, just started a survey focused on brake repair tasks.
Survey participants don't need to be ASE-certified to take the survey. As a thank you, ASE will randomly award $100 Amazon gift cards to five lucky individuals who share their time and experience by taking the survey.
As an industry-created and directed organization, ASE depends on the industry for input. Certification tasks and test questions are written by industry subject matter experts from independent repair shops, dealers, after-market suppliers, OEMs and trainers. Responses to the survey and the others in the series will help drive ASE certification standards, as well as technical training.
