One in a series of luxury-brand dealership sales closed in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area as the stores owned by Boardwalk Auto Group are gradually dispersed after the founder’s death and a partner’s subsequent exit.

The Boardwalk-branded Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Pagani stores sold to the US Auto Trust group in a deal brokered by NBB on the part of the seller.

NBB also handled Boardwalk’s sale this year of its Northern California Alfa Romeo, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Pagani franchises to former Mercedes dealer George Grinzewitsch Jr., in addition to a Volkswagen dealership in Lewisville, Texas, bought by Clay Cooley Auto Group.

“California represents one of the strongest luxury vehicle markets in the world, driven by high concentrations of wealth and population density in major metropolitan areas,” NBB said.

Boardwalk, which is no longer in operation, served the Texas market for more than 20 years.

“The group's Ferrari and Lamborghini stores have consistently ranked among the top-performing dealerships in North America,” NBB said in announcing the group’s last divestiture.
