Agent Summit Names Opening Keynote Speaker

LAS VEGAS — Organizers of Agent Summit 2013 have announced that Scott Karchunas, president of Protective Asset Protection, will deliver the event’s opening keynote address.


Karchunas joined Protective in 1988 served in a number of executive positions before being named president in 2013. He said his presentation, “F&I Economics,” will offer “an optimistic outlook of an industry where new challenges and emerging opportunities abound.”

David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of F&I and Showroom magazine, said he expects Karchunas’ comments to reflect positively upon the work done by agents to help drive success in the F&I industry. “Scott holds a positive view of our industry, and he foresees bright times ahead,” Gesualdo said. “His speech will get the conference started in high gear.”


The third annual Agent Summit is scheduled for March 4–6, 2013, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The conference will be preceded by the Participation & Reinsurance Symposium, which will begin at 1 p.m. on March 4 and conclude shortly before the evening keynote address and reception. Karchunas will speak at 9:10 a.m. the following morning, shortly before the first of the educational sessions.
