Automotive Compliance Education (ACE) will offer Automotive Compliance Specialist for no charge to registered guests of the upcoming Agent Summit, set for March 2 to March 5 at Caesars Palace Las Vegas.

ACE Executive Director Gil Van Over III will be joined by attorney and Mosaic Compliance Services CEO Jim Ganther, continuing an Agent Summit tradition that began in 2017.

“Agents have come out in force whenever we’ve offered the certification at Agent Summit. They are truly part of ACE’s DNA,” Van Over said. “They want the compliance expertise, and we benefit from their insights and, from ACE agents, feedback they get from the dealership professionals they enroll.”

ACE training will begin on-site at Caesars Palace at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 2. Van Over and Ganther will lead a two-hour review of study materials provided before the event and answer questions and scenarios posed by agents. They will also offer analysis into the recent appeals court ruling that struck down the Federal Trade Commission’s CARS Rule and how agents and dealers should respond.

The session will conclude with sufficient time for agents to take ACE’s online exam via any smartphone, tablet or laptop, before the Agent Summit welcome reception kicks off at 5 p.m. Agents may also choose to complete their exams and certification at a later time or date.

Agents who wish to participate in ACE Automotive Compliance Specialist certification at Agent Summit are asked to register via email by Friday, Feb. 21.
