Disruption in our industry has taken many forms and seems to be moving at the speed of light in many directions. Consider the movement for electrification by manufacturers, environmental activists and the push of government intervention. Think consolidation, digital retailing and the impact of TAAS (Transportation as a Service). This session brings agents into the mainstream of industry trends.
“The speed of change in our industry, from the gas to electric vehicle, the in-dealership experience to digital and paperless transactions, industry consolidation, and more requires we be flexible, creative, and responsive," said Atkinson. "Continual improvement combined with innovation and a passion for finding and developing people is key to adapting to the disruption in our industry.”
As President and CEO of AUL Corp., Mr. Atkinson brings innovative solutions in a rapidly changing marketplace to the business of providing Vehicle Service Contracts, Warranty Administration, Reinsurance, and Consulting to dealers, independent agents, and financial institutions in all 50 states. Under his leadership, AUL Corp. has grown to administer more than 2.5 million contracts, has paid over $800 million in claims to date, and has more than 100 employees.
“No one better to crank us up than Jimmy Atkinson, as he talks 'Trends of Disruption,' (not a rock band) and 'Change and Innovation,'" said the event's advisory board chair, Randy Crisorio of Brown & Brown Dealer Services. "Fasten your seat belts ... we are on the move!”
